Footy Final Snacks - Feed Your Soul

It is that time of the year, where everyone is getting excited about their fav team, getting together with friends and watching the finals over a few drinks and snacks. I have the perfect snack for you to keep those weekend get togethers HEALTHY.

It is a  recipe as I have fine tuned more and more over the years and I wanted to share it with you.

Do let me know what you think if you get time to be creative in your kitchen this weekend and prepare HEALTHY TV snacks for the game.  It is a great healthy snack food and one that I would say be good as rugby or league game snack with your family and friends. You could enjoy it with a avocado & lime dip or my raw hummus recipe.

Remember to let me know what you think.

Have a great day.

Made with Pumpkin Seeds

High in zinc and important for prostate health, pumpkin seeds are also rich in magnesium, omega-3 fats and anti-oxidants.
1 -2 cups kale, washed
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup sunflower seeds (or almond meal)
1tspoon dreid oregano
1 tspoon dried rosemary
1 tspoon cumin powder
1 tablespoon coconut oil - or olive oil
1-2 Tbspoon water if need

Blend or use food processor with kale + all dry ingredients - add melted oil. Once it has bind together like a dough like texture, remove from processor and squeeze together, check it is sticking together, if not use the water to help it bind, but not too much as you want it to dehydrate out as much as possible, I find the moisture from the kale is enough.
Press out onto baking paper on a tray and deydrate, if you don't have a dehydrator use the oven on 150 degree, but watch it as the seeds can burn quickly. Depending on your oven it could take 25 mins - 40 mins
